ABCD The Second Life Coffee Stained Coptic Bound Journals Notebook

These abstract coffee stained cover books are hand bound using a Coptic style stitching. Made using various kind of waste, upcycled and recycled. The cover is made using a recycled board and waste cartridge sheets. The abstract graphic is created using waste coffee. Inner papers are made od 100% recycled tetra pack.

These are designed and developed for multiple uses.

IMPACT through Design

• We only use discarded, rejected or out-dated pamphlets and single sided papers from printing presses.
• The folding and binding is hand done and consumes no unnecessary energy through the process.
• The block printed newspapers covers are completely hand done and consume no excessive and unnecessary forms of energy while printing.
• The newspaper covers are printed in an NGO which employs differently-able people. It creates an opportunity for a livelihood for them.
